My Story My name is Tristian Wallace. Six years ago, kidney failure changed my life. Since then, dialysis has kept me alive. Twice every week, I spend hours connected to a machine that does the work my kidneys can no longer do. It is exhausting, restrictive, and at times overwhelming, but it has given me the chance to keep fighting. Dialysis is not a cure. It is a lifeline that keeps me going while I work toward the opportunity that could change everything: a kidney transplant.
